Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) sole international airport of Nepal has been witnessing development as recently the airport has been facilitated with free WiFi service.
Previously ,only domestic terminal of TIA was facilitated with WiFi service whereas now both domestic and international terminal are facilitated. According to the airport official, the free WiFi facility has been introduced in cooperation with WorldLink Communications.
TIA has added additional chairs at terminal building for making passengers comfortable while waiting for flights.
Similarly ,Pokhara Domestic airport has been facilitated with free WiFi service. Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) tweeted about the initiation of free WiFi service at the airport from September 4 2018.
Previously, the meeting was held at MoCTCA under the presence of Minister Adhikari addressing the introduction of free WiFi service to every airports of the country. The service will be expanded to other airports as soon as possible.
