While the country remains locked down to control the spread of COVID-19, different countries have been evacuating their citizens from Nepal.
The German and Britain governments are taking initiation to evacuate their citizens from Nepal on Wednesday through chartered flights.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Qatar Airways and Titan Airways have been permitted to conduct repatriation flights tomorrow.
It has been informed that an aircraft of Qatar Airways will land at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 11:00 AM and take off at 12:00 noon with German nationals.
Likewise, an aircraft of Titan Airways will land at 12:00 noon and take off with British nationals at around 1:00 PM.
Meanwhile, British Ambassador to Nepal, Nicola Pollitt, has said bookings for the first flight, scheduled for Wednesday early morning, have already been full. The embassy will pick up the passengers from different points of Kathmandu, according to the ambassador.
Ambassador Nicola Pollitt has already said that the flights will not be free. The cost of the flight is £800.00 for each traveler and infants, under the age of 2, will travel free of charge.
