Increased Travel and Airline Options At CVG

The increase of the vaccination process globally and a bit of control of the Covid-19 has given hope for the travel industry and aviation sector to take a breather. The CVG airport is currently serving only 55% of the client volume of 2019. the Kentucky-based airport expects the percentage will jump to 70%/-80% in the summer of 2021. CVG planning to gradually increasing the demand for air traffic is operating at 25-year low airfare for the passenger’s assurance and attraction on the air travel again. Introducing new routes and air carriers like Sun Country Airlines and Alaska Airlines aims to increase the number of travelers in the upcoming holiday seasons. CVG airport celebrated the inauguration of the two new airlines in May 2021, increasing carrier options, travel networks, and schedules for the clients.

The new strategy could be good news for the CVG and the entire travel industry; the people who have been cooped up with the frequent lockdown and restrictions are looking for an adventurous journey now the restrictions have started to ease on a global scale the potential return of the travel days.
