China Southern b737, Flight CZ3693 delayed after passenger onboard open plane’s emergency door.
Yesterday, At Chengdu International Airport – Boeing 737, flight CZ3693 delayed because of unusual activity happened on the aircraft.
The passenger on China Southern flight intentionally opens the airplane’s emergency door to let some air in just before takeoff. The China Southern flight bound for Urumqi Diwopu International Airport was delayed for around an hour as cabin crew closed the door of Boeing 737 and waited for new departure time. The Schedule flight to take off was at 9:55 from Chengdu International Airport but because of this incident, they ended up flying at 10:52am.
According to the spokesperson from Chengdu Airport said the b737 was close to the security gate along with 130 passengers onboard. He added – once the door was open, ground staff closed the door from outside and again inspected the aircraft made delay for an around 40minutes.
Such activities had also taken place in 2015, arresting two people for opening three emergency doors.
