Civil Aviation Academy (CAA) of Nepal has announced registration for the 6 months ATC Licensing, Aerodrome Control and AFIS Course through a published notice on 18th Jestha 2075.
The academy has suggested interested Nepali candidates to register within 21 days of the first date of publication.
The academy will be enrolling a total of 16 students from open and inclusive competition.
The candidate must have Bachelors in Information Technology or Engineering from a reputed institution passed with at least second division or GPA 2.5. Other requirement includes the age restriction as the candidate must have completed 21 years of age without exceeding 27.
The necessary documents including registration form, citizenship, educational certificates, character certificate, English Language Proficiency Test from TU, TU equivalent certificate in-case of foreign degree must be submitted to the CAA, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur with the allocated registration fee of Nrs. 2000.
The academy will be conducting written examinations and interview to select the candidates. One who passes the interview will undergo medical examination from Civil Aviation Health examiner and will get approval with ATC licensing Class III Medical report.
The entrance card for the examination will be dispatched from 24th Ashar, 2075 whereas other examinations date will be disclosed later.
CAA which was established in 1975 is recognized by Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) as State’s approved aviation training organization (ATO).
The academy conducts basic, refresher , induction and recurrent trainings related to Air Traffic Control, Aviation security ,Fire fighting and rescue, CNS and others based on quality curriculum both of local and international standards
