CAAN accomplished the Routine Flight Inspection for 2018

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the aviation regulatory body of the country has successfully accomplished the routine flight inspection 2018 for the enhancement of aviation safety in Nepal.

According to CAAN, the routine flight inspection had carried out the monitoring of different navigational and visual aids along with the validation of Instrument flight procedures at different airports in Nepal.

The inspection was carried out under the joint effort of CAAN (CNS P&D Department) and Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI) from May 2, 2018 till May 16, 2018.

The periodic flight inspection 2018 had covered the performance of DVOR/DME, NDB, Locator, Instrument Flight Procedure, PAPi and TIA radar.

Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI) is a state enterprise under the Ministry of Transport of Thailand. It was founded in 1948 by airlines with the consent of the Royal Thai Government to provide air traffic control and aeronautical communication services for airline operations.
