Buddha Air the pioneer of the domestic air operator in Nepal has decided to add up fifth ATR 72-500 to its fleet. The airlines seem to be dedicated and determined to continue dominating the domestic air operation by adding up an additional ATR 72-500 series aircraft.
Marketing Director from Buddha Air Mr. Rupesh Joshi reported AviationNepal that the authorities from the airlines are currently busy working on for the procurement of fifth ATR 72 aircraft. The date for the arrival of the fifth aircraft has not been confirmed yet but still the aircraft is expected to land in Kathmandu probably by the first week of January 2018, he added.
In addition, he reported that Buddha Air in every occasion has coordinated with ATR aircraft manufacturing company to buy it’s each aircraft, so the airlines this time too are coordinating with ATR Manufacturer to get its fifth ATR 72 aircraft.
Buddha with joint coordination of ATR Manufacturer will add up its fifth ATR 72-500 and in overall eight ATR aircraft to its fleet. The airline currently is the pioneer of ATR aircraft in Nepal. Besides, Yeti too has introduced its first ATR 72 aircraft following up Buddha’s step.
Previously, Buddha had landed its fourth ATR 72 aircraft on 7 February earlier this year.
