Buddha repatriates three Mongolian citizens from Kathmandu

Buddha Air departed for an international destination, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi today carrying three Mongolian nationals who were stranded in Kathmandu due to the lockdown.

An ATR 42-320 aircraft ‘9N-AIT’ flight took off the Tribhuvan International Airport at around 11:30 AM. this morning. It has been informed that they will be flying back to the Mongolia from New Delhi. The aircraft while returning back to Nepal will be flying empty.

The Crew for the flight include two Pilots, One Flight Operation Officer, One Techinical Engineer and two Cabin Crew for the flight.

Prior to this, the airline had already conducted four chartered flights to Dhaka during the lockdown period.

The airline crew are required observe all health regulations when operating these flights such as wearing PPE kits and disinfection of aircraft and personnel.
