The leading domestic carrier Buddha Air is set to launch two more sectors in the domestic operation of Nepal. The new sectors will come to service from February next month. The carrier will now fly two new sectors for Kathmandu – Rajbiraj – Kathmandu and Pokhara – Biratnagar – Pokhara.
The Kathmandu and Rajbiraj flights will be operated daily from February 01. Whereas, the flights of Pokhara – Biratnagar – Pokhara will be conducted three days a week starting February 03. The carrier plans to conduct the thrice-weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
With its fleet of ATR and Beechcraft aircraft, it conducts flights to around 12 popular destinations of the country. Rajbiraj will be a new addition to its existing destinations. Its fleet comprises of 8 ATR 72-500 aircraft, 3 ATR 42-320 aircraft and 2 Beechcraft 1900D series aircraft.
Presently Shree Airlines is conducting regular flights to Rajbiraj Airport from Kathmandu.
