Being one of the competent airlines in Nepal, Buddha Air has taken a huge initiative to support the flood victims at Morang and Sunsari. A relief fund of Rs25 lakhs has been set up as a part of Buddha Air’s initial social responsibility program. The airline will dispatch relief materials such as food, medicine, etc to the flood victims from the fund.
As per the information from Buddha Air’s official page, all the programs related to funding will be carried out by the company itself along with the co-operation of youth clubs and security personnel of respective places. Buddha Air has also committed to bear all the expenses of extra administration works during relief event.
The company will also be publishing all the details of the relief fund calculations later. This is probably an effective approach made by Buddha Air and it is pretty sure that it will inspire other companies to do so.
