Buddha Air, one of the progressive and leading private airline of Nepal has announced to increase its flight frequency in capital city of state 7, Dhangadhi starting from April 5, 2018.
The carrier will now conduct two daily flights in Kathmandu-Dhangadi-Kathmandu route at 7AM morning and 5 PM in the evening.
Buddha Air has already started a night flight from Dhangadhi Airport after Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) established RNAV (Area Navigation). The carrier has been authorized to conduct Performance-Based Navigation (PBN). This new navigation procedure will aid the airline to conduct Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) procedure and night flight at Dhangadhi Airport.
According to Buddha Air, the introduction of new satellite technology has increased the flight efficiency during minimum visibility, unfavorable weather conditions and night time so, the company has announced to add number flights to Dhangadhi. Earlier, due to bad weather and air traffic, the flights used to get cancelled and delayed.
The additional flight of Kathmandu-Dhangadi-Kathmandu route will ease local people to travel and also facilitate access to Simpuri Nauni Tal, Hari Durbar, Rishi Kesh, Dehradun and other places.
