Buddha Air flight from Kathmandu to Simara has returned to Kathmandu without landing at Simara. According to Tribhuvan Airport office sources, Buddha’s ATR that departed for Simara at 4 pm could not land at Simara.
“The pilot decided to bring the plane back to Kathmandu without landing at Simara after seeing a problem with the ‘indicator,'” said the source.
The airport said that after flight number BHA 555 of Buddha landed in Kathmandu. Seventy passengers were on board.
According to Simra Airport Chief Surya Bahadur Khatri, the aircraft contacted the tower of Simara. They informed that it had returned to Kathmandu, saying there was a problem with the indicator.
