Buddha Air ATR72 9N-AMD made an emergency landing today at Tribhuvan International Airport.
9N-AMD en route to Dhangadi from Kathmandu diverted back and landed safely after 40 minutes of departure following a technical issues in aircraft.
As per the source, flight U4255 departed from Kathmandu at 5:18 PM local time and landed back in Kathmandu after 40 minutes. Fire fighting, as well as ambulance, was stand by at TIA.
There were 68 passengers on board, according to the airline, which has arranged another flight (9N-AMU) to take the passengers to Dhangadi.
