Buddha Air ATR 42 diverted to Nepalgunj from Surkhet

Buddha Air ATR 42-320 9N-AIT flight U4-133 has been diverted to Nepalgunj after it failed to land at Surkhet Airport. The Buddha Air flight from Kathmandu to Surkhet could not land at the airport due to bad weather in Surkhet.

Buddha Air’s Surkhet chief Anil Pant said that aircraft were diverted to Nepalgunj after failing to land at Surkhet Airport. “Aircraft could not land at Surkhet airport due to fog around the Bheri river, so it has been diverted to Nepalgunj,” he said.

There are 46 passengers, including four crew members, onboard the flight from Tribhuvan Airport to Surkhet at 8:01 am.
