Breaking news! 16 injured in a Russian plane crash near Serbia

An IL-8 aircraft of Russian defence ministry which has 39 people on board has crashed in Yakutia in Serbia.
According to the defence ministry, 16 people were extremely injured and seven required hospital treatment, amending previous reports that 27 people had been killed.
The aircraft consisted seven crew members and additional 32 passengers when the aircraft crashed near Tiksi in the Bulun district which lies in the far east of Russia.
Weather conditions were reportedly bad in the area when the crash happened.
The crash happened during a scheduled flight as the aircraft flew from Kansk but came down about 30km near of Tiksi at 19:45 GMT on Sunday.
During the emergency landing, the plane broke into three pieces.
Russia’s Emergency Ministry despatched three Mi-8 helicopters to the site where the crash occurred.
