Prabhu Helicopter who is desperate to introduce a brand new Robinson R66 turbine helicopter to its flight will now only is able to land the aircraft in Nepal after Dashain.
According to the officials from Prabhu Helicopter, the operators will be landing a brand new Robinson R66 turbine helicopter after the Dashain Festival.
Earlier the helicopter operator had planned to land the brand new US made Robinson helicopter by 20th September but were unable to do so due to delayed procurement procedure.
The order was made months before but the arrival date of the helicopter was pushed back after the delayed response from the helicopter manufacturer reported an official from Prabhu Helicopter.
The official website of Prabhu Helicopter stated that the company had placed an order with Robinson Helicopter Company, CA, USA to procure brand new Turbine Robinson R66 on May 2017.
The company is planning to initiate its operation from Kathmandu to the near and popular destinations for tourist and also conduct medical evacuations. After the addition of brand new R66, Prabhu Helicopter will be the proud owner of three helicopter; one R44 and two R66s.
The company with its current base in the country’s most attractive city, Pokhara operates heli services such as helicopter scenic tours, aerial photography, and filming, corporate tours, medi-vac services, search and rescue services and honeymoon packages.
