Boeing 777 of British Airways Catches Fire At Las Vegas
A Boeing 777-200, 275 seater aircraft, has caught fire yesterday while propelling for takeoff. As soon as plane was accelerating for takeoff, its left engine brusted into flames and fortunately, takeoff could be avoided immediately.
It has been reported that 159 passengers and 13 crew members were onboard the flight 2276 that was enroute from Las Vegas, USA to West Sussex, UK. During that catastrophic failure, two people have been injured. As soon as the aircraft came into halt after the bursting of its left engine, all the passengers were evacuated through the emergency exits.
The actual cause behind the bursting out of the engine has not not been determined yet. Investigators are indulging for probing the cause of the incident.
