The passenger died onboard from Varansai to Mumbai flight (6E-711) after he experienced heart attack.
A passenger I B Tripathy was 65-year-old who was traveling alone, suffered heart attack onboard and the incident happened around 10:20 AM at Varansai airport when the IndiGo airlines was on the runway to take off for Mumbai.
According to an official, a passenger had heart attack and died onboard.
The police are investigating and taking the case forward, they added.
