Bangkok – Kathmandu flights to resume after Covid-19 pandemic

The Kathmandu-Bangkok flight, which was closed due to the covid-19 pandemic, will be resumed. The issue was discussed during a meeting between Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Prem Bahadur Ale and Thai Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Vosita Vorasaph at the ministry on Thursday, according to Ale’s secretariat.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Nepal Airlines has already received permission to operate the Kathmandu-Bangkok-Kathmandu route two days a week (Monday and Friday).

During the meeting, Minister Ale thanked Ambassador Vorasaph for the assistance extended by the Thai government in the Lumbini area. Minister Ale urged Nepali citizens to be facilitated for Thai visas and Nepali citizens to go to Bangkok for medical treatment.

During the meeting, Ambassador Vorasaph said that his country would extend all possible support for the development of Lumbini.
