The giant aviation museum belonging to the Bed Upreti Trust is set to inaugurate soon as the construction work is undergoing with good pace. Captain Bed Upreti said, “We are planning to inaugurate the museum by the end of September, 2017 however; displaying the museum stuffs and decorating landscape will require more time.” The museum is situated at Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
Bed Upreti Trust, owner of the only aircraft museum of Nepal had bought the crashed Airbus A330-300 aircraft of Turkish Airlines for constructing the second aircraft museum in the country. The trust has already established a Fokker 100 aircraft museum in Dhangadi and now is working on to start the second museum.
The Aviation Museum is expected to be a huge source of knowledge and entertainment for the aviation enthusiasts, students and every visitor. Moreover, its inauguration will be the great moment for Nepali Aviation.
