AS 350 B3+ shortly to arrive for Fishtail Air Heli-operation

Fishtail Air is all set for adding an AS 350 B3+ helicopter to its fleet which will arrive Kathmandu within coming three days period. The helicopter will be delivered to Fishtail via roadway in Kathmandu.
The company had signed the helicopter purchase agreement with TARMAC AVIATION SA of Switzerland for a maintained AS 350 B+ helicopter months earlier. The company has also signed the MOU agreement with Bell Helicopters, Textron Company on behalf of Simrik Helitrade for bringing two new Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopters under their fleet expansion plan, on 07 October 2016.
According to the officials from Fishtail Air, the aircraft cargo has already arrived Birgunj Custom and is expected to arrive East Helipad at TIA within coming three days time. The aircraft left for Calcutta from Switzerland by sea on 7th March and was later transported Nepal via roadway. The aircraft’s parts including fuselage, tail-boom was dismantled into a container.
The helicopter’s registration paperwork will be commenced soon after its arrival and after the compliance of the other necessary paperwork’s and registration process the company will be working ahead to commence the operation with the helicopter as early as possible.
The AS 350 B3+ helicopter is powered by a 2B1 engine and is well known for its capacity to fly in higher altitude (23,000 feet AMSL) all over the world. The chopper has also earned its name in Nepal with comfortable flights at mountainous region of the country. Excluding the pilot the helicopter possess 6 seats and can operate flawlessly during the operation like Aerial Sightseeing, Mountain Flights, Rescue Evacuation, Corporate Charter, Sling Operations, High altitude operations and other special adventurous missions.
