ARFF International Conference to be held for the first time in Kathmandu

First time in the history of Nepalese Aviation industry, ARFF International Conference and Exhibition has been scheduled in Kathmandu on mid of August this year. The Seminar is jointly being organized by ARFFWG (Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Working Group), Asia Pacific Region, Nepal Rescue and Firefighting Association and will be supported by Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil aviation, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) along with Nepal Tourism Board.
NRFFA was established in 2001 as a non-profit organization for the effective operation of ARFF Service with the promotion and dissemination of technical knowledge, awareness and to upgrade the fire safety standards among the ARDD personnel as well as personnel involved/employed in aviation sectors including civil society.
The main motto of NRFFA is to enhance the fire prevention activities and ensure the fire protection safety and rescue service in Aviation Sector. NRFFA is one of the active organizational members of ARFFWG which is renowned as an international organization dedicated to sharing ARFF information between airport firefighters, municipal fire departments and all the others concerned with aircraft fire fighting and rescue operation.
