American Eagle flight AA4194 suffered a runway excursion at Bahamas

An Embraer ERJ-145LR of American Eagle flight AA4194 suffered a runway excursion after landing on runway 06 at Freeport-Grand Bahama International Airport, the Bahamas on October 24. An AA4194 flight carrying 25 passengers and three crew members was confirmed to be safe.

Envoy Air, operated by American Eagle service, was heading Freeport from Miami veers off the runway just before noon on October 24. American Airlines reported that the incident happened while landing at the Freeport with trouble with the main landing gear.

Sadly, American Eagle AA4194 ‘s subsequent operations were canceled. There were no corresponding flights reported on the aircraft, the Embraer ERJ-145LR registered as N674RJ, but owing to this recent occurrence, we can reasonably conclude that it would not be operational for at minimum a day or two.
