American Airlines and Aer Lingus collided on the ground at Dublin Airport on 16 July 2021. American Airlines N873BB flight AA723 from Dublin to Philadelphia hit an Aer Lingus A330 at Dublin Airport Friday afternoon.
American Airlines Dreamliner was on pushback and damaged the Air Lingus A330, which was parked beside. No one was harmed in the incident, and the American Airlines travelers were accommodated and rescheduled on another aircraft.

An investigation has started following the collision involving two planes at Dublin airport. The Irish Aviation Authority stated that an inquiry was initiated following the event.
