Altitude Helicopter Likely To Commence Its Service Soon
Newly founded Nepalease helicopter charter company, Altitude Helicopter owned by Chhyou Trekking, is likely to commence its service within two years. Chhyou Trekking Company intends to invest Thousand Million NRS within 4 years of its operation.
It has been reported that Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has decided to grant (Air Operator’s Certificate) AOC to Altitude Helicopter Company. After receiving AOC, Altitude must start its service within 2 years.
According to the commercial plans of Altitude Helicopter, it has decided to buy 2 AS350B3e (H125) manufactured by Airbus Helicopters and 2 koala Helicopters manufactured by Augusta , Italian Helicopter manufacturer company. Still, Hub for Altitude Helicopter has not been fixed.
Altitude Helicopter has hoped to commence its service within February to April. Currently, 7 heli-charter companies Air Dynasty, Simrik Air, Fishtail Air, Manang Air, Mountain Helicopters, Shree Airlines and Muktinath Airlines are in operation .
