Altitude Air preparing for addition of new AS350B3e helicopter

Altitude Air is preparing to add new H125 (AS 350 B3e) helicopter in its fleet as the competition of adding fleet by the helicopter company is furiously going on.

According to airline official, the estimated cost of the helicopter is Nrs 310 million and is manufactured by Airbus Helicopter Company. It is anticipated to arrive Nepal by the month of August, 2019.

The AS 350 B3e is powered by a Turbomeca Arriel 2B turboshaft engine and is well known for its capacity to fly at the high altitude about (23,000 feet AMSL) all over the world. The chopper has also proved its capability in Nepal especially in mountain regions. It has the capacity of 6 seat excluding pilot and performs flawlessly in Aerial Sightseeing, Mountain Flights, Rescue Evacuation, Corporate Charter, Sling Operations, High altitude operations and other special adventure missions.

Altitude is a very young company established on 2016 which fastened its seat belt to debut in Nepal aviation industry introducing European manufactured helicopter AS 350 B3e, which seems very efficient for the country like Nepal where most active companies are operating their flights with same series of helicopters and is on the pipeline to add on the existing fleet at present.
