Airport authority proceeding to iron out the traffic congestion of Tribhuvan International Airport

Tribhuvan International Airport authority has eventually put forward a step to manage traffic congestion problem of TIA.
The authority has came with up with a strategy in which the priority would be given to schedule flight firstly and onward chartered and this tactic will help to suppress the congestion trauma at TIA that is going on currently.
According to Prem Nath Thakur, TIA spokesperson, “Airlines give more precedence to chartered flights which affect schedule flights. We don’t provide permit to chartered flights until the schedule flights in and out going on.”
On addition TIA is facing parking problem occurred repeatedly and lack of parking space resulted obstacles for all the corresponding domestic airlines in movement of the aircraft, which links to barriers for on time flights. Further reasons for increasing air traffic in TIA consequential in increasing in the fleet from Airlines Company. The parking bay spaces are significantly low and are incapable to handle emergency circumstances.
