A new carrier from India, Air Vistara is going to debut its flight services to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport from 11th of February next month. The carrier established with joint venture of Tata group and Singapore International Airlines is going to add Kathmandu into its list of destination.
The carrier has introduced a very affordable airfare for the new sector to be introduced. The carrier is offering a fare of Indian Rs. 9,999 for a round trip of New Delhi-Kathmandu-New Delhi. Accordingly, a round trip fare for Kathmandu-New Delhi-Kathmandu is NRs. 16,999. The carrier believes to aid in promoting the ‘Visit Nepal 2020’ campaign of Government of Nepal with the flight introduction.
The daily flights from Delhi to Kathmandu have been scheduled to take off at 2:00 PM and land at 4:15 PM and the flight to Kathmandu to Delhi will take off at 17:15 and land at 18:45 .
