Air India Express flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Abu Dhabi made an emergency landing at Trivandrum International Airport (TRV) today after the windshield crack was found in the aircraft.
Air India Express Boeing 737-86N VT-GHC flight IX1581 took off from TRV at 7:30 am today and, diverted back to TRV, made a landing with no further occurrence. As per the media source, the aircraft was operating a cargo flight.
However, the aircraft had no passengers, owing to the COVID-19 restrictions on foreign travel to specific locations, and was only transporting cargo and a crew of eight.
