Umashankar Argariya, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has urged the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) to develop a specific action plan for reform.
He gave the corporation one week to correct its flaws and then indicated that he would interfere. He said that despite the corporation’s sufficient aircraft for domestic flights, there had been concerns about their improper usage. He said that an objective basis for the year-long absence of domestic flights would be examined.
Minister Argariya has directed the airline to find a solution.
