NAC To Resume Dubai, UAE Flight From Aug 18

KATHMANDU, 20 JULY 2016

Finally, it has been fixed that the national flag carrier of Nepal, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) would resume its Dubai flight after the four years of halt in the service.

As reported, the flight will be conducted from Aug18,2016. The Corporate Director and spokesperson of NAC Mr. RamHari Sharma asserted that the corporation would conduct Dubai flight thrice a week ( Tue, Thu & Sun).

NAC is all set to resume its flight via its newly added A320-200 fleets(9N-AKW & 9N-AKX). The average flight duration from Kathmandu to Dubai is about 4 hrs 20 mins. Four years earlier, NAC was compelled to halt its Dubai flight due to scarce of aircraft.

Currently, only one airlines FlyDubai conducts direct flight on DXB-KTM route. During the season, many passengers use other airlines such as Air Arabia, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Oman Air inorder to reach Dubai, UAE.

NAC has claimed that it has already appointed “Anta Travels” as its General Sales Agent (GSA). The one way flight fare to Dubai has been marked as approx. NRS 25,000.
