Bodies Recovered from Crashed EgyptAir Flight MS804

4th July,2016 – Investigators mentioned that, the search operations carried for crashed EgyptAir flight MS804 plane in May has recovered all the bodies from the Mediterranean Sea. The Mauritian-based ship John Lethbridge is now sailing to Alexandria in Egypt. Further, the ship will return back to the crash site to look for more bodies.

Egypt Air Flight MS804 from Paris to Cairo crashed, killing all 66 on board on 19th May. Till now the cause of the crash is unknown.

The Egyptian Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee mentioned statement that the search operation John Lethbridge “recover all the human remains that were mapped at the crash location”.

The committee mentioned that the vessel will return to the crash location only after delivering the remains in Alexandria “to conduct a new through scan of the sea and to search for any [more] human remains to be recovered”, said Egyptian and French forensic doctors on board the search operation the body recovery process.

The remains are examined by prosecutors and forensic specialists examined the remains in Alexandria before going to Cairo for the analysis of DNA. The committee mentioned on Saturday that “the  black box voice recorders memory are not damaged so the investigators should be able to make use of them”.

The black box from EgyptAir flight MS804 confirmed smoke was on board, noted last week. The Automated electronic messages sent from the plane reveal that the smoke detectors went off in a toilet and in the area below the cockpit before few minutes the plane disappeared from the radar, investigators mentioned.

The recorded data recovered from the black box are accordant with those messages. The Black box i.e; voice and flight data recorders were recovered from a depth at about 9,800ft (3000m) below the Mediterranean sea, the investigators noted. The second black box or the cockpit recorder is still being repaired in Paris.

Till now no explanations for the crash has been noted. But According, to the experts and the reporters from the Reuters News Agency mentioned that the crash was a technical failure rather than sabotage.
