Yesterday Drukair Flight KB 140 made narrow escape
17 April 2016, The national airline of the kingdom of Bhutan – Drukair flight KB 140, along with 90 passengers onboard fortunately made absolute narrow escape , after the aircraft stroke by a hailstorm during its final approach to land on Saturday.
The flight en route from Paro to Guwahati suffered a heavy hailstorm hit over Garo Hill of Meghalaya, as per the source
Regardless the damage to aircraft’s nose and right engine, the crew apparently made a safe landing at Guwahati airport.
The aircraft is grounded for the technical inspection by the aviation expert as per the information disclosed.
