A Sudden change in weather, the Airport suffered an extreme wind imposed to pause its runway, making all international airplanes hold on sky for one and half hour approximately.

“Due to the strong wind we had to hold few airplanes on sky – among them Air Arabia and Korean Air flights were diverted to Lucknow and Bangkok respectively”  said by the TIA, General Manager Devanand Upadhya.

Air Arabia, Air India, Qatar Airways, Korean Air, Fly Dubai and Jet Air were the airplanes that were made hold due to the extreme hard wind.
