Iron Maiden’s the Ed Force One Boeing 747 suffered a bad damage during ground collision in Santiago Chile.
The British famous band’s B747 met with an accident; while the beauty B747 being towing for refueling, a steering pin in a tow truck fell out, and unfortunately collided with a ground tug as it tried to make a turn.
Luckily, there were neither band members nor any crew onboard, when b747 had a collision with tug – despite two ground staff were injured, and had taken to the hospital.
The Ed Force one’s undercarriage reported as badly damaged, and two engines need to replace by the new one. “Fortunately the 20 tons of extra equipment had not been loaded onto Ed force One when it met with an accident, else the damage could have taken the worse.
Ed Force One is often piloted by the lead singer Bruce Dickinson, who is handed with commercial pilot license.
The band officially put the statement on their website “the band hopes that two injured airport staffs to recovery very soon”
As per the initial report developed by the flight engineers that the engines have faced a large damage and it requires few extra maintenance period and possibly two engine need to be replaced by new.” the statement as per band.
