True Aviation AN26B has crashed in Cox’s Bazar – Bangladesh on 09 Mar Wednesdays.
The Antonov AN-26 while operating the cargo flight locally from Coxs Bazar to Jessore, 4-crew member on board and a payload of shrimps suffered a fatal crash, after right hand engine malfunction occurred.
As per the Cox’s Bazar tower “The crew joined right hand downwind runway 35 for landing, aborted that landing and again tried to join left hand downwind for runway 35, unfortunately lost height and impacted the waters of the Bay of Bengal about 2nm distance from aerodrome.
Three Crew Members lost their life in the fatal crashed, whereas one rescued but yet under the critical condition.
