Two Companies Forwarded Their Tendor Regarding The Auction Of Agni Air’s Aircraft.
Agni Air, founded on March 2006, is ceased domestic airline of Nepal. It had three BAe Jetstream 41 and four Dornier 228. After the crash of 2 Dornier 228, remaining two Dornier 228 are in operation by Simrik Air whereas three Jetstream 41’s have been grounded.
Agni Air had taken about 65 crore loan from Grand Bank Ltd, Sunrise Bank Ltd and International Leasing Finance Company (ILF). As Agni couldn’t clear its debt so, it’s aircraft have been kept into auction. It has been reported that Agni Air had even filed a case to Supreme Court to halt the Auction process. After long interval, finally two companies have forwarded their tendor to buy those aircraft.
