Chinese Company Likely To Commence Construction Of Pokhara International Airport
Yesterday, during the meeting held between Finance Minister Dr. RamSharan Mahat and Chinese Commerce Officer Chang Syongchhen regarding the construction of Pokhara International Airport, Dr. Mahat urged Mr. Chang to construct the airport soon.
Prior to commencement of construction, almost every paperwork has been completed. Dr. Mahat assured to solve any kind of problem soon that may arise if it is from Nepal side. As the construction of Pokhara International Airport is Nation’s priority project, so there mustn’t be any delay in construction.
The sole international airport of Nepal, Tribhuvan International Airport, hasn’t capability of handling dense air traffic. Many flights can be affected if slight problem arises. Therefore, Nepal is in great need of alternative international airport.
