Shutting Down The Working Engine Regarded As The Cause Of Crash Of TransAsia ATR 72-600

      On 4 February 2015, the ATR 72-600 of TransAsia possessing flight number 235 with 53 passengers and 5 crew members onboard crashed into river shortly after the takeoff from Taipei Songshan Airport.

     Among 58 people onboard the plane, 15 were able to survive the crash. Investigation team was setup immediately after the crash. The initial investigation report confirms the cause of crash is shutting off the working engine when the one of the engine lost its power.

   It has been reported that as soon as the plane took off, its one of the engine lost its power. Unfortunately while cutting the fuel supply, pilot shut the working engine due to which plane reached stall speed.  Before the shutting down of working engine, plane was flying at an altitude of 309 ft with the speed of 105 Knots.

   The Aviation Safety Council (ASC) stated that final report will be released on next April of 2016.
