Newly established light utility jets manufacturer company Honda Aero, Inc (HAI) had chosen the HF120 engines for its jets which has been certified by the FAA.
HAI had begun the production of its HF120 engines at GE’s Lynn facility in Massachusetts. At the end of 2014, HAI had commenced the assembly of HF120 under GHAE’s Type Certification (TC) and on the behalf of FAA as well.
Fortunately, HAI’s Burlington Facility can now produce the HF120 engines for its jets and other aircraft under the HAI production certificate. It has been reported that in the last 23 years, HAI is the first company to be awarded an FAA production certificate for jet engines.
