The Tribhuvan International Airport continued its ordinary operations on Saturday evening, four days after the Turkish Airlines A330 slid off its runway. TIA issued all clear for runaway after Turkish Airbus was towed towards the domestic parking area at around 6 pm.
It took more than 50 hours to take the aircraft away from the runaway,general manager of Tribhuvan International Airport Birendra kumar Shrestha Said Yesterday.At 10:22 PM New Airbus A320 from Nepal Airlines took off for first flight to Kathmandu – Delhi route.
Due to lack of emergency response system it is said that millions of rupees had been lost and many passengers were victim of this crisis. It directly affects the tourism, hotel, airlines and many more of the country.
