ANA Welcomes third and final Airbus A380

All Nippon Airways took the long-awaited delivery of its third Airbus A380s from Toulouse, France, on October 15. The third Fly Hanou was delivered on paper to the Japanese carrier almost a year ago. However, it has been in the care of Airbus since then.

This All Nippon Airways A380 is the last of three A380s the airline had ordered. The A380 with Japanese registration JA383A arrived at Tokyo-Narita at 12:54 pm local time, having departed from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport at 06:10 pm local time on Friday, October 15.

A significant number of planespotters and people gathered around the airport to watch the departure and pay tribute to the superjumbo that has rocked the skies of Toulouse for more than 14 years.

This delivery was the last ever delivery of an Airbus A380 from Toulouse. Airbus will deliver its previous two A380s destined for Emirates from its Hamburg plant.

The final aircraft painted in a turtle-themed Sunset Orange livery is currently two years old and flew for the first time on October 10, 2019. This aircraft is different from the sister aircraft that appeared in ANA Blue and Emerald Green.

The orange seat turtle is configured in a four-class configuration with 520 seats across the two decks. The upper deck holds eight first-class seats, 56 Business class seats, and 73 Premium Economy seats, whereas the lower deck is configured with 383 Economy class seats.

ANA will undoubtedly be looking forward to deploying its latest addition in addition to two other A380s on flights to Honolulu above the Pacific Ocean.
