Vistara, the full-service network carrier in India, will be flying twice a week to Paris from November. The airline announced yesterday that it would serve the New Delhi-Paris route starting from November 7 as a part of a bilateral air bubble agreement between two countries, i.e., India and France. It will operate two flights a week between Delhi and Paris with its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Currently, Air India is the only Indian airline providing non-stop air services between the two countries.
Leslie Thng, CEO of Vistara, stated the new flight route reflects the airline’s commitment to a growing global network. The flights will build Vistara’s presence in Europe and represent the finest full-service airline of India to the world.
In August, Vistara was granted Foreign Air Carrier Permit to fly to the US. The airline currently provides international air services to London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Male, Dubai, and Sharjah, along with the relaxation of COVID-related travel bans in these countries.
India has currently imposed halting of scheduled international flights till September 30. But, dedicated freighter transport and bilateral air bubble flights will resume the operation.
Vistara customers can book the upcoming flights for the Delhi-Paris sector on all channels soon. They need to comply with visa/entry requirements specified by government authorities of both countries.
