Ukraine aircraft hijacked in Kabul later denied

A Ukraine plane carrying people has been hijacked in Kabul, Afghanistan. But the claim was later denied by the country’s Foreign Ministry. The Ukraine government minister claimed on Tuesday. The aircraft was taken to Iran. According to the minister, the plane was hijacked on Sunday. Unknown individuals took over the plane.

According to the news agency ANI, this information was given by the Assistant Foreign Minister of the Government of Ukraine, Yevgeny Yenin. “Our plane was hijacked on Sunday by unknown individuals,” he said. The plane was taken to Iran on Tuesday. There are unknown people on this plane. Not only that, our other three evacuation plans were not successful because our citizens could not reach the airport.

According to the agency, the hijackers were armed. It was not immediately clear who hijacked the plane. Ukraine continues to rescue its people from Afghanistan. As many as 83 people have been evacuated from Kabul so far. Of these, 31 were Ukrainians. There are still more than 100 Ukrainians in Afghanistan. Efforts are being made to rescue them.
