The JFK-LHR flight was inaugurated on August 11. In response to high business demand on the New York-London route, JetBlue is focused on these high-yield travelers to ensure its Mint Cabin to full capacity. The aircraft has a layout of 24 refreshed lie-flat Mint Suites and 114 seats designed as Core seats.

JetBlue has a proud history of serving London, as New York JFK-London LHR is one of the most lucrative transatlantic routes. UK Government has recently approved the arrival of fully vaccinated US passengers. Meanwhile, the partial restriction remains for transatlantic travel as a result of the US not allowing Britain travelers to enter the country due to the pandemic. Only those who are tested negative for COVID-19 are permitted to enter the US.

JetBlue has recently seen increased passenger revenue due to relaxation in domestic travel restrictions and consequent rebounding demands. JetBlue hopes to win over affluent passengers with its unique take on transatlantic travel and expects the London flight to be noteworthy for travel opening with its cheap fare starting as low as $599 on round trip economy tickets for US travelers.
