The tire of Sita Air Dornier 9N-AHB has been punctured at Simkot Airport this evening. The aircraft carrying cargo from Surkhet had a tire puncture while landing on the runway of the airport.
According to Civil Aviation Authority Simkot branch manager Mohan Giri, the tire was punctured while landing on the runway and being brought to the parking area. The crew members on board are safe. Sita Air has stated that it is preparing to bring new tires from Nepalgunj or Surkhet.
There were only crew members on board.
