Airlines from UAE suspended the flight to India till 31 July

Airlines operating in the United Arab Emirates have suspended flights to India until July 31, 2021.

Etihad Airways has extended flight bans from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh until July 31.

Emirates has stated that it would continue to ban flights to India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka until July 21, 2021, following the UAE government instructions.

Additionally, this announcement said that ‘UAE nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas, and personnel of diplomatic missions who adhere to current COVID19 procedures are free from the requirement and may travel.’ If you’re planning to travel, it’s always better to contact the airline directly.

On April 24, the UAE’s General Authority of Civil Aviation and the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) stated that all inbound flights from India, would be stopped owing to an increase in coronavirus infections.
