Stockholm – Bangkok

Within the period of 6 months, between October 22, 2021, and April 22, 2022, Finnair is set to offer its initial five flights in a week on Stockholm to Bangkok route, which will eventually be daily flights from November 28, 2021. And the flights from Stockholm to Phuket will commence from October 24, 2021 to April 21, 2022; one flight in a week initially, two flights weekly from November 4, and a total of 3 flights in a week from November 30, 2021.

Stockholm-Miami

Similarly, on the Stockholm-Miami route, Finnair will operate two flights in a week, between October 23, 2021, and April 22, 2022, while will rise to 4 flights per week from November 29, 2021. A significant benefit for Swedish customers is that, as a member of the Oneworld alliance, they will connect to Finnair’s additional locations via American Airlines’ hub at Miami International Airport. This will expand travel opportunities across the United States and Latin America.

Intending to strengthen the air travel offerings to Swedish customers, Finnair will compete with Thai Airways, SAS, and TUI on Bangkok, Miami, and Phuket routes. The fleet of Airbus A350-900s aircraft will serve all these three long-haul routes, which possess business class, an economy class with extra leg space, and an economy cabin.

Finnair already operates flights to Miami, Bangkok, and Phuket from its Helsinki hub and will serve the same routes through Stockholm, Sweden.
