Two brand new Airbus A321Neo and A320Neo for IndiGo arrived in Delhi

Airbus delivered two Neo (Airbus A321Neo and A320Neo) aircraft to Indigo in July.

Indigo Airbus A321-251NX flight 6E9001 left Hamburg on 07 July 2021 and arrived in Delhi after six hours and twenty-seven minutes of flight. VT-ILP is the aircraft’s registration number.

Indigo’s brand new Airbus A320-251N arrived in Delhi at 06:07 a.m. on July 10 from Toulouse, France. VT-ISV flight 6E9001 took off from Toulouse at 18:30 and arrived in Delhi after a seven-hour and forty-minute journey across Europe.

Indigo Airbus A320Neo VT-ISV MSN 10599 made its test flight with registration F-WWIX. On July 9, 2021, the aircraft conducted a ferry flight. The A320Neo has two CFMI LEAP-1A26 engines that power the aircraft.

The aircraft is configured with 186 all economic seats.

VT-ILP

VT-ILP is Airbus A321-251NX, previous registration was D-AZAM. The aircraft is configured with 323 all economic seats.

300 order of Neo family aircraft

IndiGo made a definitive order for 300 A320neo Family aircraft with Airbus on October 29, 2019. This is one of Airbus’ biggest ever aircraft orders from a single airline. Currently, the airlines has 123 A320neo aircraft in its fleet.

IndiGo stated “that the Covid vaccination campaign would be critical in reviving the tourism and aviation industries. Additionally, the airline said that India’s air traffic has a great potential for future improvement due to cooped demand.
