US-Bangla Airlines set to fly Kuala Lumpur starting July 16

US-Bangla Airlines, Bangladesh based Airlines set to fly Kuala Lumpur from Dhaka starting July 16. According to local media reports, the aircraft would leave from Kuala Lumpur on Friday and arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on the same day.

According to the press announcement, the aircraft would depart Kuala Lumpur for Dhaka at 3.50 p.m. local time on Friday and land Dhaka from Kuala Lumpur at 5:50 p.m. the same day.

The minimum price between Kuala Lumpur and Dhaka is set at Tk 30,756 including taxes and surcharges. According to US-Bangla Airlines, travelers must submit to a Corona test of 72 hours before embarking on the journey and possess a Covid-19 negative certificate. Upon arrival in Dhaka, passengers must pay for a 14-day quarantine stay at an institutional or government-designated hotel.

US Bangla intends to operate a Kuala Lumpur and Dhaka route using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 164 seats. On March 1, 2017, US-Bangla Airlines began operating the Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka route.

US-Bangla Airlines provides domestic flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Sylhet, Jessore, and Syedpur.

Current International destinations

As per the government’s directives during the Covid-19 epidemic, US-Bangla Airlines is presently conducting flights from Dhaka to Dubai, Doha, Guangzhou, Chennai, Kolkata, Kuala Lumpur, Muscat, Doha, Singapore, and Bangkok.

US Bangla has stopped operations in Kathmandu after the fatal crash of a Dash 8 Q-400 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The airline, based in Dhaka, started operations on July 17, 2014, with two Dash 8 Q-400 aircraft and subsequently added another Dash 8 Q-400 aircraft to its fleet.
